Your chance to perform at Auden Theatre

Ventriloquists, choirs, magicians, dancers, singers and many other entertainers will be battling it out on stage this weekend.
The fourth annual talent show in Aldborough, organised by the Good Intentions Fundraising Team (GIFT), will be held this Sunday from 11am.
It will happen at Aldborough Church Rooms, on The Green, and anyone is welcome to perform or watch.
There is no age limit and the winner, chosen by three judges, will go on to play at the 14th annual variety show at the Auden Theatre, Holt, on September 22 organised by the Grand Order of Water Rats charity.
Yvonne Tiffany, chairman of GIFT, said: “We are looking for a great variety of acts - from singers and musicians to speciality acts. We have had some excellent acts in the past who have gone on to bigger and better things.”
GIFT was formed about seven years ago out of the Aldborough Village Show committee and has raised between £5,000 and £6,000 for local causes each year.
This year it is fundraising for About With Friends in Cromer, which supports children, young people and adults with learning disabilities; Village Care Services which supports patients of Aldborough Surgery; and the Grand Order of Water Rats which supports performers who cannot work because of age or disability.
Mrs Tiffany, one of the judges, said: “We won’t be like Simon Cowell. It is surprising what talent is out there. It is a good opportunity for people to show off their talent. Our eyes and ears are always open.”
She added the Aldborough talent show started with three performers but it has “grown and grown” and attracts people from beyond north Norfolk.
The youngest participant was an eight-year-old singer but the event also attracts older people. Acts can sign up on the day but to register beforehand ring 01263 768076 or email email@example.com.
