Organisers of the third annual series of summer concerts planned for a north Norfolk estate say ticket sales already up “fourfold” on last year.
And this newspaper has partnered with Starlight Concerts - formerly Cromer Hall Concerts - to offer five pairs of tickets to any of this year’s three shows.
Emma Brayne, the events’ operations director, said half of tickets were being bought by people from outside north Norfolk, showing the concerts were a drawcard for the area.
Ms Brayne said: “We continue to be delighted with the growth of Starlight Concerts in north Norfolk. We had two amazing sell-out nights last year, and I can’t wait for the magic to return this summer.”
The first show, on Friday, August 2, will feature Roy Hemmings from the Drifters performing a range of Motown hits, followed by a set from Michael Jackson tribute, Ben Bowman.
August 3 will be a ‘Back To The 80s’ concert, starring the group, the Wild Boys as well as tribute performers to Madness, Madonna, Boy George and Tina Turner.
This will be followed by a ‘A Country Night In Nashville’ show on August 4, including a show by Gordon Hendricks, who has been called ‘the world’s best Elvis tribute’,
The concerts start 6pm-7pm and take place on the grounds of Cromer Hall, which overlooks the seaside town.
For your chance of winning two tickets, simply write your name, address, phone number, and the name of the show you would like to see out of: Motown and Michael Jackson, Back To The 80s, or A Country Night In Nashville, and send it to: Starlight Concerts ticket giveaway, Eastern Daily Press, 31 Church Street, Cromer, NR27 9ES.
