Shanty songs and choral music to feature in upcoming church concerts in Sheringham and Cromer

Shanty songs and choral music are in store at upcoming church concerts in Cromer and Sheringham.

Sheringham and Cromer Choral Society will perform their concert The Dreamers of Dreams at Cromer Parish Church on Saturday, April 6 at 7.30pm.

The choir, directed by David Ballard, will be performing works by two of the most successful composers of the 20th Century, Sir Edward Elgar and John Rutter.

The choir will be joined by soprano soloist Zaira Palumbo who recently graduated from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance and is a rising star on the local classical music scene. Tickets are £12 available from Sheringham Little Theatre, call 01263 822347 or £15 on the door. The Sheringham Shantymen will perform at Sheringham’s St Peter’s Church on Saturday, March 30. This show starts at 7.30pm with tickets available on the door for £6, proceeds will go to the church.
