The Gunton Arms in North Norfolk is set to host an even bigger event than last year.

Last year the first Gunton Festival of Food and Music sold out three months in advance.

Due to its success the event runners this year have doubled the capacity of the festival from 650 people to 1300.

The newly expanded event, which will take place on Saturday August 4, promises to be a celebration of food, drink, and live music.

Food will be available from The Gunton Arms, which will be open throughout the festival, as well as an outdoor BBQ and other food vendors. Festival goers will be able to choose from a range of both meat based and vegetarian options.

The James Hunter Six will headline the musical acts which also include New Scientists and a number of DJs.

Last year’s festival promoter Rupert Orton said of the first event: “We sold out within two weeks of the tickets going on sale.

“What’s unique about this festival is that it makes the most of the North Norfolk culture.”

Tickets for this year’s festival are still available at the time of writing. General admission is priced at £27.50.
