An internationally acclaimed guitarist is to make a return visit to St Andrew’s Church, at Lammas, near Aylsham, on June 22, in a concert featuring music ranging from classical pieces, to chart hits by Queen and the Beatles.

Guitar virtuoso Carlos Bonell, who was appointed the Royal College of Music’s youngest ever professor of music at the age of 21, has given solo performances all over the world, also appearing with the London Philharmonic Orchestra, the London Symphony Orchestra, the English Chamber Orchestra and classical guitar legend John Williams.

St Andrew’s churchwarden Georgie Graver said: “Carlos is a real friend to the village, he always tells us how he enjoys the superb acoustics and the beauty of the building and the setting.”

Carlos Bonell will be performing at St Andrew’s Church, Lammas at 7.30pm on June 22. Tickets, priced £12.50 (including interval drink) are available from 01603 279682
