Proceeds from this year’s Easter egg hunt at North Walsham Memorial Park will go towards a fundraiser for new play park.

The event on Saturday, March 31 will also feature face painting, a balloon modeller, and a raffle.

Matthew Smith, trustee and founder of North Walsham Play, which organises the hunt, said: “It promises to be a great day and builds on the success of the first egg hunt held last year.”

The event will run from 9.30am to midday at the Memorial Park, starting from Poppies Nursery.

The cost is £3 per child, and all children taking part will leave with a goodie bag.

The newly-opened North Walsham Community Shop is contributing to this year’s hunt by helping to buy the Easter treats.

Tickets can be purchased from The Music Hut, North Walsham Community Shop or online at www.ticketsource.co.uk/nwplay.
