You don't only have to remember, remember the fifth of November if you want to be a part of this year's Bonfire Night celebrations in north Norfolk.

Most events in the district marking the Gunpowder Plot of 1605 will be spread over the preceding weekend.

Here's a look at what's being planned.

-The Lighthouse Inn at Walcott is having a fireworks night on Friday, November 2. Gates open at 5.30pm with children's film-themed display at 7.15pm and main display 8.30pm. Family tickets £20 in advance, £30 on the day.

-Cromer's event takes place on the Saturday at Suffield Park Infant School. Gates open at 5pm and the fireworks start at 6.30pm. The event raises money for the Infant School and Cromer Junior School. There will be a barbecue and food stalls alongside sweet treats and a bar. There will also be glitter tattoos, glow face painting and glow toys available. Advance tickets are available from the school: adult £2.50/child £1.50, on the gate - adult £3/child £2.

-The villages of Corpusty and Saxthorpe are having their bonfire night on Saturday, November 3, with a procession at 6pm and bonfire at 8pm. Entry is free but donations are encouraged.

-Bodham's event is also on the Saturday, taking place at the village playing field, starting at 5.45pm, with the bonfire at 6.40pm and fireworks at 7pm. Cost: adults £2, children £1, family £5.

-Deer's Glade caravan and camping park in Hanworth are having their annual charity fireworks night on the Saturday, starting at 6pm, with a procession at 6.30pm, bonfire at 7pm and fireworks at 7.30pm. Admission is £5, families £15.

-North Walsham businessman Robert Scammell is paying for a fireworks display at the town's Memorial Gardens on Sunday, November 4, at an event opening at 5pm, with the display starting around 6.15pm. Entry is free and there will be a bucket collection to help cover costs, with any surplus to go to charity. There will be food and drinks available.
