From rock concerts to community picnics and craft fairs, there are plenty of things being planned around north Norfolk to mark Norfolk Day.
The Saturday, July 27 celebrations of all things Nelson's County is set to make an even bigger splash in 2019 than the first-ever Norfolk Day event did last year.
Here's a look at what's on:
Aylsham
- Aylsham WI will be handing out 100 cupcakes to the people of Aylsham to mark the Norfolk day and the federation's centenary.
- Aylsham Town Hall will host a Norfolk Day Concert from 2pm. There will be a performance of Songs Through The Decades featuring The Jeff Short Swing Combo and Singers plus afternoon tea and cakes.
Tickets are £10 available from J B Postle and Son in the town's Market Place.
Blakeney
- The village's St Nicholas Church is hosting a Blakeney guild of many crafts exhibition, which began on July 7, will take i Norfolk Day, and run until August 1.
Bodham
- The best of local musical talent will take the stage at Rock Bodham, which runs from 1.30pm to 11.15pm at the village's playing field. Performers will include The Naked Lights, DJ Hagster, Drop The Clutch, Ultra Ego and The Primes. There will also be children's activities, ice cream, a bar and barbecue.
Cley next the Sea
- A range of family activities will be held at Norfolk Wildlife Trust's Cley Visitor Centre.
Coltishall
- The local WI will be celebrating Norfolk Day with cake from 2.30pm at River Green.
Cromer
- Merchant's Place will have displays on the new Deep History Coast project, the Cromer Shoal Chalk Bed, Walk Cromer events and more. There will also be activities to get involved in, such as beachcombing to create artwork, dinosaur and marine themed crafts for kids and fossil hunting. The event will run from 10am to 3pm.
- Members of Cromer WI will be hosting a tea party at a Cromer beach hut. Members are being asked to bring their own flasks of hot drinks to cut down on plastic waste. The group are also hoping to hand out 100 slices of cake to passers by.
Holt
- Holt Library will host a Norfolk-themed quiz, and there will also be display boards there put up by Holt Civic Society.
- Holt Hall is hosting a picnic from 10am to 3pm, and visitors will have the chance to explore the property's Victorian walled garden, follow orienteering trails, explore the grounds and the hall itself.
North Walsham
- North Walsham Library will host an exhibition showing North Walsham through the years.
- Rock Buns and Rolling Pins WI will be handing out home-made rock buns to the people of North Walsham.
Letheringsett
From 2pm on July 27, the King's Head will be hosting live music from Matty Haynes, a bouncy castle, ice creams and family fun.
Mundesley
- In Gold Park from 10am-4pm, there will be free arts and craft for the children, a fancy dress competition, food and drink, well being mini donkeys, face painting, a Punch and Judy stall, music, dancing and the famous Pat Nearny.
- Mundesley Library will host a treasure trail for youngsters.
- One hundred lavender cupcakes from Mundesley WI: The Mundesley group will be handing out cupcakes with handwritten messages on them.
Overstrand
- Rockstock will take place at the village sports ground from 3pm to 11.45pm, featuring bands including Vintage, Round the Clock, Fat 'n 'Furious, the Overstrained and Sunrazer. There will be a licenced beer tent, barbecue and more.
Roughton
- Roughton WI will be holding a cream tea celebrating both Norfolk Day and the Norfolk Federation of WI's centenary.
Sheringham
- Sheringham Library is hosting a 'snapshots of Sheringham' exhibition, made up of photos from community members showing what Sheringham means to them.
- The Harley Ride Out, organised for Sheringham Carnival, will ride through town between 12pm and 4pm.
Stalham
- The Museum of the Broads is offering free entry to mark Norfolk Day.
- Stalham Library is offering cups of tea for Norfolk Day.
Worstead
- A celebration of food, farming and north Norfolk's rich history, the two-day Worstead Festival will feature demonstrations from some of the county's best chefs including Richard Bainbridge of Benedicts in Norwich.
