The season gets off to a rousing start with a concert by the Aylsham Band at 7.30pm on Saturday, March 7. They will be providing a rich and varied programme of toe-tapping items.

Just two weeks later, on Saturday, March 21, at 7.30pm, the second concert of the season will feature two exceptional young Spanish talents.

Cellist Maria Martinez studied at the Guildhall School of Music with many of the great names of English cello playing, including Steven Isserlis, who is playing in Norwich a few days earlier. She will be accompanied by fellow Spaniard, Tarek Al-Shubbak, piano, who teaches piano accompaniment at the Trinity School of Music in London.

The programme features music by Bach, Beethoven and Cassado, a fine but little-known Spanish composer.
