'The joys of stamp dealing' is the topic of an upcoming talk at Sheringham and District Philatelic Society, which is now in its 50th year.
Members and non-members alike are welcome to the event on Monday, March 11 at the West Runton Church Hall at 7.30pm. The talk will be led by Tony Hender of Arun Stamps.
Other events the society are planning for the year ahead include a stamp collecting quiz evening and an auction. Society membership costs £10 a year.
-A talk titled 'Adventures through words and music' is planned for Upper Sheringham Village Hall, to raise money for the All Saints Church Bell Appeal. The Saturday, March 30 event will run from 11am to 2.30pm and also feature savoury pancakes, tea and coffee, a raffle, Easter tombola and a crafts sale.
Revd Angela Dugdale will lead the talk, and tickets are £10 in advance from Lin Wright on 01263 822312.
