With a packed programme featuring fun for all the family, Sheringham Carnival promises to be an event to remember.

Here's a round-up of all the main attractions, pick your favourites, or go along to them all!

Saturday, July 28: Harley Davidson ride-out, motorcyclists will arrive at approximately midday, leaving at 3pm.

There will also be a tide fight to music at 3pm on the beach in front of the Leas, with gifts for all children entering.

Sunday, July 29: Crowning Day, with games, stalls, dancing and demonstrations on the Leas from 11am. Carnival Queen Mollie Gallon, her attendants and the carnival prince and princess will arrive for the crowning ceremony at 2pm.

Monday, July 30: Golf competition at Sheringham Golf Club from 10am, sandcastle and sculpture competition on the beach in front of the Leas from 12.30pm.

Tuesday, July 31: Chalk-a-picture on the prom near Sheringham Museum from 2pm-4pm, then, at 6pm, get set to get wet in the hugely popular street races. Competitors will line up in their crazy contraptions and race down High Street while being pelted with flour and water missiles by onlookers. New for this year is a 'Big Foot' race, with teams of three or more racing to the finish line on giant paddle-style feet. Children must wear protective clothing, applications forms can be completed on the day. The carnival committee would welcome help cleaning up afterwards.

Wednesday, August 1st, Parade Day: Attractions and stalls around the town from 11am, with Kenny Gray's fairground on Station Road car park, George Cushing's fairground organ from 10am on Otterndorf Green, and the Croydon Steel Orchestra playing outside the Crown pub throughout the day. A children's fancy dress competition will take place from 4.15pm on Tesco forecourt.

Floats will assemble on the car park from 4pm, with judging at 5.45pm and the parade setting off at 6.30pm.

Thursday, August 2: Carnival beach clean, bin bags provided, meet at 10am near the lifeboat station, prizes for best rubbish sculpture and most unusual object.

Open Youth Trust Beach Mayhem on the beach in front of Leas from 2pm, tug of war on the Leas at 6pm. Sheringham Shantymen on Lifeboat Plain at 7.30pm.

Friday, August 3: Cowhand Express on the North Norfolk Railway, with sideshows, line dancing, competitions and a Wild West-style barbecue. Arrive at 6pm for a 6.10pm departure to Holt. Tickets from the tourist information centre, Starlings or the carnival caravan.

A-quack-ic duck race, 10am at the beck behind Beeston Road. Meet on the bridge at the end of Weston Terrace. Duck numbers available on the day, or in advance from the carnival caravan. Cash prizes for winners.

Vintage tea party with Sheringham WI at St Joseph's Church Hall, Cromer Road. Traditional afternoon tea served by Lyons Corner House 'Nippies', 1940s fancy dress optional. Doors open at 2.15pm, tickets (priced £6.50) from the carnival caravan.

Saturday, August 4: Carnival fancy dress parkrun, 9am at Sheringham park. Carnival pet show, 1pm at Cromer Road playground, with categories include best sausage catcher, fastest sit and best rescue. Rosettes for all winners, enter on the day.

Car treasure trail from the Dormy House Hotel at 2.30pm. Solve clues as you drive around the countryside, £5 per car.

Cromer and Sheringham Brass Band carnival concert, 7.30pm at St Peter's Church. Free entry with retiring collection for carnival funds.

Sunday, August 5: Chalk-a-picture on the west prom from 10am, Sheringham in Bloom open gardens, 11am-5pm, starting from 26 De Morley Garth, children's boating competition on the Leas at 2pm.

Torchilight procession and grand finale fireworks: Meet outside the Lobster at 8.15pm, procession led by piper Dave Harper from the town clock at 9pm. Fireworks at 9.45pm
