Sheringham churches have organised the BeachLife Extra event which will happen inside Sheringham Primary School on Cooper Road tomorrow.

The activities will have a beach party theme and primary school children, aged up to 11, will be able to come along to a group picnic from 12.30. Children will have to bring along their own food and drink.

This will be followed by a range of exciting activities, including a large bouncy castle, large games, computer games, craft activities and more.

The afternoon will end with a celebration with songs and fun, finishing at 3pm.

Young people aged between 11 and 18 will enjoy Pete and Mark's Big Night Out, from 7.30pm to 9.30pm, also at the primary school.

The indoor activity day was organised following the successful Sheringham BeachLife outreach event on the town's cliffs last August.

The BeachLife outreach took place after the cancellation of the Scripture Union Beach Mission in Sheringham, which had been running for 100 years, and attracted crowds of youngsters.

Pete Skivington, youth pastor at the town's baptist church and event co-ordinator, said: 'BeachLife Extra is all about giving kids and young people an opportunity to find out more about God, whilst having loads of fun. Folk from the town's churches are all working together towards this one goal.'
