A north Norfolk choir celebrated 85 years of entertaining audiences, by taking an exclusive tour of local stately home Mannington Hall.
Members of Sheringham and Cromer Choral Society and their guests, who were invited by Lord and Lady Walpole to visit the hall and gardens, shared an anniversary cake in Mannington's Greedy Goose cafe, before enjoying a picnic in the grounds.
Lord Walpole, who has decided to retire as president after many years of supporting the choir, was presented with a standard rose, aptly named Rhapsody in Blue.
The choir's 85th Anniversary concert, Songs of Love and Nonsense, will be on Saturday July 14 at 7.30 pm at The Auden Theatre. Holt.
Tickets, priced £12 (£15 on the door, under 18's free), are available from the theatre on 01263 713444 or at www.audentheatre.co.uk For more information visit www.sheringhamandcromerchoral.co.uk
