A guitar signed by Eric Clapton being auctioned for charity at North Walsham this weekend has now got an added bonus.A tribute band to the guitar guru heard about local jeweller Barry Holden's local Live Aid gig, which is being boosted by his bumping into Clapton at a local hotel and getting the maestro to autograph the instrument.

A tribute band to the guitar guru heard about local jeweller Barry Holden's local Live Aid gig, which is being boosted by his bumping into Clapton at a local hotel and getting the maestro to autograph the instrument.

Classic Clapton have donated two passes to their April 4 show at the Norwich Maddermarket after being impressed with Mr Holden's efforts.

It will be added to the guitar lot which is also signed by Mike Rutherford from Genesis and Procol Harum singer Gary Brooker.

Mr Holden is hoping for a good turnout to the Live Aid concert which is at the North Walsham Community Centre on Saturday from 8pm to 1am. It has raised �15,000 for a variety of children's causes over the years.

This year's, in aid of Children with Leukaemia, features local bands Beyond Duplication, Raw Edge, Circus, Ultra Ego and Pinto who are giving their services free.
