Rehearsals began this week for the 32nd year of Cromer's summer variety show Seaside Special, which opens on at the Pavilion Theatre on Cromer pier on June 20.
Director, Divisor and Choreographer Di Cooke will be putting the cast through their paces and The Seaside Special dancers are the first to arrive - beginning work on the dance routines that have become the trade mark of the show.
Ian Westbrook from 3D Creations will be putting the final touches to the scenery and Claura Whyte will be doing the last minute fittings to the costumes and the lighting and sound designer Amanda Hill will be working with Musical Director Nigel Hogg and Stage Manager Lorraine Taylor.
Then is over to the audience to bring to fruition the 32nd year of one of the most famous 'End-of-the-Pier' Shows in England headlined this year by the comedy duo Simmons and Simmons.
Once the opening night is over rehearsals get under way for the opening night of Show Two just two weeks later on July 4. and then the two shows swap around each Thursday.
