Stage and screen star Nicky Henson will be inviting audiences to ask questions on his theatre, film and TV career, when he shares a chat-show-style evening "In Conversation" with Sheringham Little Theatre artistic director Debbie Thompson on Sunday (July 27).

Stage and screen star Nicky Henson will be inviting audiences to ask questions on his theatre, film and TV career, when he shares a chat-show-style evening "In Conversation" with Sheringham Little Theatre artistic director Debbie Thompson on Sunday (July 27).

Mr Henson, who has been acting in the West End and on Broadway since 1961, began his show business career writing songs for Cliff Richard and The Shadows.

A founder member of the Young Vic company, he has appeared in more than 30 films, from Mike Leigh's Vera Drake, to the 2005 Stephen Gaghan thriller Syriana.

His theatre credits range from Macbeth to Charley's Aunt and, on television, he has popped up in soaps including Coronation Street and EastEnders, and drama series from Inspector Morse to A Touch of Frost.

Mr Henson, who has also appeared in Doctors, The Bill, Bad Girls and Heartbeat, will, for the first time this year, be directing a Little Theatre summer repertory season play, Alan Ayckbourn's hilarious Bedroom Farce, which runs from August 5-19.
