Scarecrows are plotting to infiltrate a small north Norfolk village next month.
Schoolchildren and adults from Swanton Abbott, near North Walsham, have created a troop of the ragged straw-brained men which are about to scatter themselves along the village's country lanes.
They will be dotted around the area on April 4 as part of a scarecrow trail which hopes to raise money for the Swanton Abbott Primary School parent teacher and friend association (PTFA).
Scarecrow spotters can buy a map of the village for 2.50 which shows the location of the straw creations. There will also be a raffle, tombola and cake sale.
It takes place on Saturday April 4 between 10 and 2pm.
