The garden at Blickling boasts a stunning collection of over 400 Hellebores in a range of colours. Normally in full bloom by February, this year they're late to flower due to the cold weather, but now visitors can see them in all their glory.

The Hellebore collection at the National Trust's Blickling Hall has only been planted in recent years, creating independent scenes of cultivated wilderness. Visitors will discover these flowers along the wooded banks and fern glades in the Dell Garden at the Norfolk property.

In fact Blickling's collection of mostly orientalis hybrids, once in flower can continue flowering for over 10 weeks. However, this year due to the hard frosts and snow, they are coming into bloom weeks after they normally would.

Many of these that you will see at Blickling have been acquired from the National Collection in Hadlow, Kent.

. Blickling Garden is open Wednesdays to Sundays, 10.15am to 5.15pm.
