Evergreen funnyman Ken Dodd, making his debut at Cromer Pier - and an instant sell-out success - heads the stars shining at the Pavilion Theatre in 2009.
Also new to the end-of-the-pier venue line-up is X Factor and Eurovision Song Contest singer Andy Abraham, an evening of mediumship from Tony Stockwell, a Made in Britain show of home-grown rock and roll, an Elton John tribute act, magic from Paul Daniels, and a Whole Lotta Zed tribute to progressive rock legends Led Zeppelin.
The 2009 season at the Pier Pavilion also sees the return of many previously popular shows, including the 40th anniversary tour of the Pasadena Roof Orchestra, Raymond Froggatt, and Dominic Kirwan.

At its heart is the signature Seaside Special summer show, this year headlined by father and son act Keith and Ben Simmons, with multi-instrumentalist Andy Eastwood, and young magician Luke Cook who won his place through a Find a Star talent contest.
In May Folk on the Pier will bring acts including The Strawbs, Fraser Nimmo and Fairport 'acoustic' Convention for the weekend, while a sister event in October showcases blues and rock from bands such as Dr Feelgood, The Hamsters and Wishbone Ash.
Among the local talent to take the stage will be the traditionally-stunning musical by the Cromer and Sheringham amateurs who this year perform My Fair Lady.
Improvements to the Pavilion for the coming year include an upgraded infra red hearing assistance loop system.
Watch out for competitions in the News where you can win tickets to shows throughout the year.
