Mr Wellings, also known as DJ Madhatter, will play his Ska Sessions show at Cromer Social Club on Sunday, April 21.

He said he had been considering retirement after suffering a fall at home on February 16. He said he 'cracked his head' before getting up and collapsing for a second time, and was then taken to hospital where doctors said it could have been an attack of vertigo.

Mr Wellings, whose cult punk-reggae group The Anti Social Workers toured with Peter Tosh from Bob Marley's Wailers, said: 'I'm bringing a show to Cromer with everything from Bob Marley's early Wailers Ska to Two-tone like Madness. It'd be good to see all the rude boys and girls skanking out to the good vibes and paying back the loyalty of Cromer Social Club.'

The gig will run from 3pm to 6pm.
