The classic adventure of Dick Whittington and his trusty cat is chartered in the Jubilee Players annual pantomime.

The action follows Dick, and cat Tommy, from London Town to Highgate Hill, and Wapping Docks to foreign shores, as they seek to find fame, fortune and true love.

Dick is played by Kyra Poole in her first role on stage for The Jubilee Players.

Along the way they encounter the fearsome King Rat (Paul Skipping) as King Rat and his rascally rats, a Morroccan Emperor who thinks they are able to perform magic tricks and of course, Alderman Fitzwarren (Neil Phillips) and his beautiful daughter, Alice (Alice Skipping).

Ros Chamberlin plays the dame role as Sarah the Cook.

The show provides some half term fun at the Tithe Barn in Horstead.

The Players say is promises to provide 'miraculous magic, colourful costumes, brilliant banter, silly slapstick - the irresistible ingredients for a purr-fect panto.'

The show runs from Wednesday February 18 to Saturday February 21.

Performances are 7.30pm on Wednesday and Thursday, 2.30pm and 7.30pm on Friday 20 and 2pm and 6.30pm on Saturday 21.

Tickets for all performances are £6 (concessions and children £5).
