The organisers of an annual north Norfolk folk festival will celebrate a landmark year with the largest programme of artists and events in its history.
Cromer's Folk on the Pier festival marks its 21st anniversary in 2019 - and the town is gearing up to enjoy its biggest ever weekend of folk, rock and acoustic music.
The three-day event, which will be held from Friday, May 10, to Sunday, May 12, will offer an extra 70 performances in pubs and cafes around the town throughout the festival's run.
These are in addition to the 18 sets at the pier's Pavilion Theatre - making it the most ambitious line up since its 1999 inception.
Festival-goers who buy tickets to any of the main events can choose from six full-length concerts, each featuring a headline artist, and as two other well-known acts.

And for those enjoying the ambience at the free events, a full gamut of musical styles will be on offer for fans, including folk-rock, country and Americana, rhythm and blues, world music, singer-songwriters and traditional folk.
Performances include the Richard Davies' Memorial Session; Festival Patrons' Hour with Ashley Hutchings MBE; the Rock the Lobster Roadshow; showcases presented by the broadcaster Richard Penguin; and various open mic sessions, at venues including The Albion, Cromer Social Club, the Pavilion Theatre Bar, The White Horse, Hatter's Tea Shop, The King's Head, North Lodge Park, Cliftonville Hotel Ballroom, and Henry's Coffee & Tea Store.
There is also a celebrity auction presented by friend of the festival, folk singer Richard Digance, at the Cromer Community Centre, on Saturday, May 11, from 11am.
The event will see guitars, albums and books signed by the stars of music, showbiz and sport up for auction, including: Lonnie Donegan, Steve Martin, the two Ronnies, John Peel, Mike Oldfield, Roy Orbison, Chas & Dave, Joni Mitchell, Terry Pratchett, Bobby Moore, Gordon Banks and more.
Entry to all the fringe events is free but some venues have limited capacity, and Folk on the Pier reserve the right to change the programme and performance times without giving prior notice.
