A FLOWER festival with a difference opens in Honing Church this weekend.

Organisers have invited representatives from charities and local groups to do their own arrangements on behalf of their chosen causes.

About 20 displays are expected, raising cash for charities including the Arthritis Association, Amnesty International, Balloons 4 Hearts, breast cancer, the Cats' Protection League, RAFA, local Brownies and a playgroup. Proceeds from refreshment sales will go towards Honing Church.

The event will take place on Saturday and Sunday, from 11am to 5pm. Entry is free.
