When choreographer Bryony Moore saw the costume worn by the children in the Sheringham panto she realised it was exactly the same one she had performed in more than 15 years earlier.

Bryony, 27, who is the creative force behind the dance routines in Snow White at the Little Theatre, wore the woodland creature outfit when she was a youngster in Babes in the Wood, at the Theatre Royal, in Norwich.

'I could not believe it when I saw the costume – it was a very surreal moment,' Ms Moore said. 'I was a woodland animal in the pantomime in Norwich when I was just 11 years old. These costumes come from the Theatre Royal and so for me they have come full circle.'

Bryony, who attended the Central School of Dance in Norwich as a child, went on to study at the Stella Mann College of the Performing Arts. She is now a professional choreographer and artistic director of Slanted Dance.

Snow White, which runs until Saturday January 4 at the Sheringham Little Theatre, was written by West End star Killian Donnelly, who is currently starring in The Commitments and has appeared in blockbuster film Les Miserables alongside Russell Crowe.

The production is directed by Simon Thompson and stars Rachel Waring, as Snow White, Loraine Metcalf, as the Wicked Queen, Kyle Fraser as Prince Charming, Rik Warren as Muddles and Russel Hicken as Nanny Knotty Knickers.

Ms Moore added: 'The dancing is a major part of this show and includes lots of surprises. It is very different to the dancing I did when I wore the same costume.

'I certainly did not do anything like the Harlem Shake back then – but it is lovely to see the costume is still in use even after all this time.'

Alongside the professionals are 24 young people aged between eight and 16. The seven dwarfs will be played by the youngsters.
