Aylsham RBL celebrates 50th anniversary
GOLDEN celebrations are due to take place in Aylsham this weekend, marking the 50th anniversary of Aylsham and District Royal British Legion (RBL) Women's Section.
GOLDEN celebrations are due to take place in Aylsham this weekend, marking the 50th anniversary of Aylsham and District Royal British Legion (RBL) Women's Section.
Members past, present and future are invited to a buffet birthday party in the town's Friendship Club, on Mill Road, this Saturday, February 7, at 7.30pm.
Entertainment will include a singalong and songs from the shows performed by Timescape.
The cost is �5 and partygoers are asked to bring their own drinks and glasses.
On Sunday, February 8, past RBL county padre Canon Michael Woods will conduct an anniversary service in St Michael's Church, Aylsham, at 2pm.
Members from the district are invited, with standard bearers from the local RBL and women's section who will muster at the gate to the church near Market Place.

Anyone who might attend is asked to ring 01263 734676 or 734091 as light refreshments will be available in the church afterwards and organisers would like to have an idea of numbers for catering purposes.
