Café René has come to Sheringham Little Theatre for an am dram stage version of the popular TV sitcom 'Allo 'Allo.

It has all the favourite characters including long suffering René, his tone deaf wife Edith , flirty waitresses, the 'poluceman' with a dreadful French accent, and Michelle 'I shall say zis only once' from the Resistance.

But watch out too for an inflatable Hitler and a parrot that is a secret recording device as the plot thickens around the whereabouts of the painting of the Fallen Madonna with the Big Boobies which is hidden in a sausage.

The cast includes Graham Blyth as René, Libby Henshaw as Edith, and Julie Carter-Andrews and Jo Ryan as waitresses Yvette and Mimi.

Debbie Thompson, theatre director, said: 'Amateur drams has always been an important part of the programme here as we are a community theatre.

'As well as established groups such as the Cromer and Sheringham Operatic and Dramatic Society, and Stage Direct, we are hosting one off productions at the suggestions of local actors.

'We are keen to keep a mix of professional and amateur drama, including youth productions.
