The North Norfolk Railway's Poppy Line is to donate its Easter Saturday income to a fellow preserved railway that has been crippled by two landslips.
The Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway, which runs to Cheltenham Racecourse, has been hit by two embankment collapses in less than a year.
NNR, managing director Hugh Harkett said: 'We're running a 45-minute steam service over Easter, and I expect that we'll raise in excess of 10,000 for our friends on the Glos Warks.
'When disasters like the embankment collapses on the GWSR happen, it's vital that all of us in the heritage railway movement rally round.'
It is planned that representatives of the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway will be on the Poppy Line on the day, spearheading an additional fundraising effort.
