Two teams represented Cromer at Under-8 level at Easton Tennis Centre in a County Winter team event.
The A team were victorious in Division One, beating teams from Culford and Easton for the first time to the take the gold medal position.
Having finished close runners-up in one previous event it was great to see the team take top honours and it represents all the hard work and practice put in over the winter with the help of coach Ross Murray. The team was made up of Toby Lewis, Matilda Burns, Leo Malakar and Jack Bradshaw.
The club's B team, consisting of Jude Ellis, Louis Kirtley, Isaac Ratcliffe and Raife Stewart, were also rewarded for some good wins with a runners-up position in one of the other groups. Matilda having played the event and then represented Norfolk at a regional County Cup event in Redbridge the following daywhere she won four out of her five matches in only her second county appearance at the age level.
