The Yachtsmen ran out winners by the odd goal in nine at The Walks in this dress rehearsal for next month's Norfolk Senior Cup final at Carrow Road.
The visitors raced into a three-goal lead within 30 minutes. Andy Key took advantage of some slack home defensive play and Danny Self ran half the length of the pitch before rifling the ball beyond a helpless Tom Rix. Kevin Leggert nodded beyond his own keeper before Kyle Nicholls broke the Linnets' duck. Key completed his hat-trick early in the second half but Nicholls completed his and a stunning Rory Harper free-kick kept it interesting.
