WROXHAM, who are preparing for their new Ridgeons Premier programme with six pre-season friendlies, have started training on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Norwich Heartsease School where all ambitious players who want to be involved in senior soccer are invited to attend (7pm).

The Yachtsmen kick off at home to Chesunt (h) July 19, AFC Sudbury (a) July 22, Enfield (h) July 26, Cromer Town (a) July 29, Hitchin (h) August 2, Gorleston (h) August 5.

Manager Damian Hilton has on contract 11 players he wanted from last season's squad, and the only new signing so far is former King's Lynn keeper Duncan McNally who replaces the retiring Robert Woodcock.

More new faces are expected to put pen to paper, prompting Hilton to say: “We have the nucleus of what I hope will become a competitive squad and intend to finish with about 18 players of Ridgeons quality.”
