Chances fell at either end in a dour game at Harwich where Wroxham lost centre back Josh Carus with an injury before the break.
The referee was checking his stopwatch when Steve Harley delivered a thunderous 28-yarder that flew into the top right hand corner of the net to keep the travelling faithful's hopes alive.
Following Tuesday night's sensational victory, Wroxham have to beat Mildenhall on Saturday to keep their hopes alive of a top two finish.
