Northern Ireland manager and former Norwich City boss Nigel Worthington will hand the Cromer Lifeboat Cup to this season's winners.

He did the honours at the competition's centenary final in 2005, and has agreed to return on Bank Holiday Monday May 5.

Derek Hinds, co-organiser for the cup which raises money for the RNLI, said Worthington, who was “very pro-lifeboat” had re-jigged other commitments so he could attend.

Cromer Town Reserves have already booked their place in the final. Next Monday sees the second semi-final between Sheringham Town Reserves, and Gimingham - who have won the cup for the past two seasons. That match kicks off at 6.45pm and the final at 6.30pm, both at Cabbell Park.
