As the weather finally changed – the breeze dropped and sun shone – North Norfolk Wheelers riders were encouraged to take to their bikes in large numbers and 26 participated in the time trial. Louise Marsden put in a personal best at 30m 03s.

However, come the Jubilee the celebrations the weather had turned cold windy and 15 riders turned out for the Thursford 10 mile time trial. On an evening which promised little much was delivered, with three riders posting personal bests and two riders posting course personal bests.

Isla Rush, 13, followed up her excellent NCH 100 performance with a course personal best despite losing five seconds when she dropped her chain moments before the start time.
