Waiting game for Aldborough CC

Aldborough will learn their promotion fate after a meeting of the Norfolk Cricket Alliance management committee on Wednesday.

The runners-up in the Lucas Fettes Norfolk League Division One applied for promotion to the Alliance and could be eligible to go into Division Four alongside champions Hardingham as neither of the top two from the West Norfolk League, Grimston and Hayley East Anglia, opted to step up.

Aldborough will learn their promotion fate after a meeting of the Norfolk Cricket Alliance management committee on Wednesday. The runners-up in the Lucas Fettes Norfolk League Division One applied for promotion to the Alliance and could be eligible to go into Division Four alongside champions Hardingham as neither of the top two from the West Norfolk League, Grimston and Hayley East Anglia, opted to step up. As their ground does not currently meet Alliance requirements, Aldborough have proposed to groundshare with Holt next season while they make the necessary improvements.
