Trimingham Pilgrims started their senior Sunday campaign by winning 3-1 in a local derby at Dilham.

After 15 minutes Chris Winterbone played a short corner to George Crane, who switched the ball inside to Euan Neave who laid it off for Jordan Tipple to fire home.

Ten minutes later Pilgrims increased their lead with a fine team goal, with a move involving Leigh Brown, Winterbone, Davies, Neave, Jack Crane and Liam Amos ending with Crane poking the ball home. Pilgrims led 3-0 at the break, Tipple shooting the ball home through a ruck of players following Winterbone's corner.

Early in the second half the visiting keeper was dismissed for a foul and Dilham pulled a goal back from the penalty spot.

Pilgrims used the fresh legs of their substitutes to preserve their lead and also created a couple of good chances. Dilham were also reduced to 10 men in the latter stages following a red card for stamping.
