Trimingham Pilgrims suffered a home defeat at the hands of DE FC who also beat them the previous week.

DE made a great start in the Norwich Sunday League Premier Division fixture and by the mid point of the first half were four goals ahead.

However within a minute of their fourth Luke Everson pulled one back for Pilgrims with a chip over the keeper, his first goal for the club.

This was the score at the interval but less than two minutes into the second half Everson made space on the right and his cross to the near post was volleyed in by George Crane. The Pilgrims' revival continued when a free-kick from the right by Chris Winterbone resulted in a scramble in the penalty box and Tyrone Bowles poked home his first goal for the club.

Fifteen minutes from time Pilgrims skipper Jack Crane left the field with blood gushing from a face injury. This seemed to unsettle the home side and DE added two late goals to win 6-3.
