Competition was so fierce at North Walsham Sports Centre's annual trampoline competition that judges were unable to choose between the top two in the U10 section. So Zoe Smith and Abigail Bunn (pictured) were declared joint winners.
Practice was relentless in the eight weeks leading up to the event. Girls battled against each other in their age group to impress judges with their skills and control in a difficult and often challenging sport. Marking took place over two days, writes Alex Hurrell.
Sessions, costing 1.50, are held during term time in the sport's centre gym on Saturdays from 9-10am, and Mondays 5-5.45pm for U10s, and 5.45-6.30pm for over-10s. Contact Mike or Ant for further details on 01692 402293.
Anyone can have a go at trampolining from
1-2pm on Saturday when the sports centre will be offering free taster sessions and staging displays in a variety of activities at an open event from 10am-5pm.
