Bacton United 89 FC and Thetford Rovers Football Club are holding a joint fundraising golf day to raise development funds for both clubs.

Both clubs are in the process of improving their facilities to cater for the increasing demand for the coaching and playing of football for young boys and girls in their areas.

The event will take place at Diss Golf Club on October 27.

Teams of four to include snack lunch, 18 holes of golf, dinner and raffle. Details from Mark Zipfel 07713074339 or Harry Steed 07850793014.

The clubs would also be most grateful for any items for the special raffle, which will take place at the dinner during the evening.

A spokesperson for the event said: “Why not enjoy a great day on a fine golf course - your contribution would be most gratefully accepted, as the clubs seek to provide loyal volunteer coaches with suitable and sufficient playing fields, equipment and coaching aids to keep the young people of our areas fit and healthy, by playing together in organised team sport.”
