He said: 'I had had a steady flow of 50s over the first half of the season and several opening partnerships over 100, but I really wanted to beat my Dad's highest score of 106!
'I am delighted to be receiving this award, and I must pay tribute to the hard work of our groundsmen (Joe Hollis, Martin Clapton and Eddie Holl) for producing such fantastic wickets. Hopefully I can continue to score runs and help secure promotion to Division Seven for next year.'
He is pictured with senior winner Ian Kennedy of Bystanders and Mark Brown from the league sponsors.
