UNITED appeared to have snatched defeat from the jaws of victory at Trafford park Tuesday night when they were a goal ahead for most of the game but conceded two in the dying minutes.

The Planters opened the scoring in the 15th minute when Adam Ferguson had a free run to score past a rooted Jackson.

The Planters refused to allow their hosts to settle on the ball, but in the 83rd minute they conceded an equaliser.

Following a free-kick the ball bounced around the six-yard box where Andy Key got the final touch past Hill.

Time was running out when the Yachtsmen scored their winner. They pushed players up to put the visitors under pressure, a through ball from White by-passed Gilman and Gary Gilmore put the finishing touches to the victory that kept Wroxham in hunt to retain their Ridgeons League title.
