Gimingham are three points from two games away from lifting the Slater and Frith Division One title. Their 2-1 victory at Happisburgh put them four points clear of neighbours Mundesley who after a splendid 5-2 victory over Horning in the final of the REW Benevolent Cup on Wednesday, then beat Lyng 2-0 in the league.

In Wayford Nurseries Division Two, Bodham clung to pole position after being held to a 3-3 home draw by Aldborough Lions who, like Runton who beat North Walsham OB 2-1, are still in the mix for a top two placing.

Mundesley Reserves faltered in Knights Trophies Division Three but remain top despite losing 7-3 to Hickling Reserves. Haisboro Athletic closed the gap to two points with a 3-0 success at Blakeney.
