Bradfield Cricket Club have ambitious plans for their clubhouse rebuild as well as the upcoming season.
Plans went in this month for new changing facilities which, it is hoped, will strengthen the club on and off the field.
North Norfolk District Council have provided a Big Society Grant, with the club now in the midst of a major fundraising effort to reach the £75,000 required, and it is hoped work will start before the new season.
Club chairman Pete Murphy said: 'These are really exciting times for Bradfield. Whilst we won the league last year we think it's essential that we get more kids playing to sustain the club into the future. The extended clubhouse will provide the extra changing rooms we need to do that, as well as giving us better facilities for the club in general.'
The next free introductory sessions for children at North Walsham Sports Centre are on Tuesday, April 4.
