Wroxham's FA Vase semi-final, first leg tie at Sussex-based Whitehawk will kick off at 1pm on Sunday, March 28.

The Yachtsmen were told by the FA they must play the first leg tie on the south coast 24 hours after the original date following a request from Sussex Police.

Hawks' League One neighbours Brighton & Hove Albion have a home League One match against Tranmere on March 27.

David Batch's men will host Whitehawk at Trafford Park in the second leg on April 3.

Wroxham 1, Debenham LC 0

Not a pretty game to watch. Wroxham started with Painter and Spriggs up front, manager Batch resting Cook, Howes and Lemmon.

As Wroxham got into gear Spriggs' 30-yard drive skimmed past a post. In the 25th minute they went ahead with Simpson putting over a lovely cross which found Gary Gilmore 20 yards from goal. He volleyed the ball into the top corner.

Whilst looking good going forward Wroxham appeared unusually nervous at the back, twice gifting possession to Debenham in dangerous areas.

Debenham had a 'goal' disallowed for offside in the 35th minute.

Debenham came out strongly in the second half and had a couple of quick corners which were dealt with by the Wroxham defence.

The Yachtsmen had several other chances to score but failed to find the net. Debenham were also guilty of not scoring when they had a couple of very good chances that they wasted.
