Stalham Town put a run of three successive defeats in the Anglian Combination Premier Division behind them by getting back to winning ways.

They travelled to Norwich CEYMS and came away with a 3-1 victory thanks to goals from Laurence Cheese (2) and Charlie Skipper, with Lewis Allen netting for the hosts.

Relegated Cromer Town remain on zero points after losing 4-0 at home to desposed champions Acle. Aaron Saunders led the way for the visitors with a hat-trick while there was also an own goal.

Stalham visit St Andrews on Saturday while the Crabs play their penultimate game of a troubled campaign next Wednesday evening when they welcome Caister to Cabbell Park.

In Division One goals from Jordan Rocastle, Jason Day and Chris Fuller saw Sheringham finish the season in style with a 3-0 win at Mundford. The Shannocks stay ninth but could drop a couple of places depending on other results.
