AS part of their continued programme of introducing a range of sporting and physical activity to the local community, Sheringham Community Sports and Active Norfolk have teamed up to put on a badminton festival at Sheringham High School on Thursday, April 3.

AS part of their continued programme of introducing a range of sporting and physical activity to the local community, Sheringham Community Sports and Active Norfolk have teamed up to put on a badminton festival at Sheringham High School on Thursday, April 3.

These sessions are geared to local school children, cost £2 and are open from 10am to 12 noon for primary school students and from 1 to 3pm for high school students. Each session will provide coaching from qualified coaches, games and challenges.

The programme will also be introducing a range of taster sports at the high school for anyone over the age of 14 years for a period of five weeks starting on April 10.

The sessions are from 6 to 7pm, cost £1. Places are limited so booking early is advised. The programme for the five weeks is April 10, basketball, April 17 carpet bowls, April 24 Futsal (football training skills), May 1, badminton and May 8, volleyball.
