THERE will be a semi-final to savour in the Optic Benevolent Cup. Division one champions East Ruston went through 5-0 over Aldborough Lions, their opponents will be Division Two title favourites Bodham who have scored 100 league goals this season and disposed of Haisboro Athletic 5-1.
The other semi is between Hickling who beat Cromer YOB 4-1 and Corpusty who came through by the odd goal of three over North Walsham A.
In Wayford Nurseries Division Two, Runton went top of the table, their 5-0 victory over Corpusty Reserves to hoist them a point ahead of Bodham who have two games in hand.
Leaders of Knights Trophies Division Three Mundesley Reserves extended their lead to five points with a 6-2 win over Cawston.
In the REW Subsidiary Cup quarter-finals Aylsham A secured a shock 3-2 victory over Coltishall to earn a semi-final place against Horning who beat Felmingham 3-1. The other semi is between Mundesley who knocked out Stalham Town A 5-1 and North Walsham OB who hit five without reply from Happisburgh.
