A team of Year Five and Six pupils from Sheringham Primary School bagged the Norfolk girls football championship title at the county finals held at Stalham Junior School.
A team of Year Five and Six pupils from Sheringham Primary School bagged the Norfolk girls football championship title at the county finals held at Stalham Junior School.
The girls played three matches, drawing 1-1 with North Wootton at the end of a tight game before winning 1-0 against Woodlands.
The team played well in their final match, beating West Earlham 6-1, and taking the title.
The team is now looking forward to travelling to London with their coaches Fiona Oldershaw, Miss Oliver and Matt Groves in March to play in the area finals.
