REEPHAM manager Shane Lutkin stated: 'We kept a clean sheet and picked up three points against a well-organised and competitive Wortwell team.

'These games against Wortwell are always tough; they are a great bunch of lads who play football in the correct manner.

'This is the sixth time we have faced them in the last two seasons and on each occasion, excepting one cup draw, we have won by the odd goal.

'The goal we got today was not a mistake and it was not from a cross or a set piece, it was a well-crafted passing move which ended up with Shaun Belton drilling the winner into the net - wonderful.

'We showed exacting discipline and exceptional work rate today. We have got a team stacked with ability, but you need character to win games like today.

'Next week will also be a challenge when we take on junior cup finalists and promotion rivals Norwich St Johns.'

Norwich St Johns verses Reepham Town kicks off at 2.30 on Saturday. Reepham also play Norwich United Reserves under lights at Plantation Park in a 7.30pm kick-off on Tuesday, February 24.
