In bitterly cold conditions at Cobholm North Walsham Raiders completed a double over bottom side Gt Yarmouth-Broadland by winning 32-12.

The much changed side went ahead after five minutes when centre James Knight gathered a loose kick and cantered through to score and Michael Mulhall added the extras.

Knight then sent a beautifully timed pass to Harry Dye who in turn found wing Will Minchin who scorched in, also converted. Mulhall was next to touch down following a maul, serving an outrageous dummy to go in under the posts and convert. It was not long before the bonus try came when a tapped penalty came via Knight to Minchin who went the final few yards.

After the hosts pulled five points back Knight recorded the fifth touchdown following a scrum just inside the 22 and Mulhall's conversion made it 33-7.

A converted try for the hosts provided the only points of the second half.
