North Walsham Youth Football Club's girls U12s team are set to kick off the new season with a brand new kit, thanks to a £400 donation from Anglian Home Improvements.

Mark Ottaway, who is managing director London north and East Anglia for the Norwich-based company, said: 'It is fantastic to see the team sporting the Anglian logo and we wish them the best of luck for their season ahead.'

Club chairman Nick Hindle said the club, which is based at Millfield Primary School, had a long and successful history of supporting youth football in the county, with many players going on to play senior football for local clubs and several playing for the England youth team and Norwich City Academy.

He added: 'We are all very thankful to Anglia for this generous donation as not only will the team look the part for the new season, but it also helps foster a great sense of team spirit and positivity among the players.
